Twelve New Products Win Best of Sensors Expo Awards at Semi-Annual Sensors Expo and Conference in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA, PA, October 3, 2001 - The editors of Sensors magazine
have selected 12 gold, silver, and bronze winners in five categories
for the Best of Sensors Expo Fall 2001 awards, presented at Sensors
Expo Fall 2001 in Philadelphia.
Gold: The FAS-G, Gyro Enhanced Inclinometer from MicroStrain
(Burlington, VT, 802-862-6629) is a fast and stable 360-degree inertial
tracking device enabling such compelling applications as vehicle roll
detection.
With the Best of Sensors Expo awards, the editors of Sensors, the
leading publication in the sensors industry for over 17 years,
recognize new products that they predict will significantly impact the
use of sensing in designs and applications. The winners were chosen
from 39 nominations and corresponded to these areas: Sensors; Data
Acquisition Products; Communications and Networking; Control Products;
and Sensor Components.
THis was a record number of wins for MicroStrain. In June, MicroStrain
won two Gold Awards. At that time no company had ever won two awards at
the same show -- let alone two Golds.
The awards program is co-sponsored by Sensors magazine and Advanstar Communications.
