The 100 mile relay along scenic Route 100 consisted of runners handing off to team mates multiple times throughout the race. Each team member runs three times throughout the race, and covers approximately 16.5 miles. MicroStrains team finished in a very respectable 14 hours, 32 minutes and 15 seconds, placing 52nd in a field of 80 teams. The 100 on 100 relay is a charitable fundraiser for Vermont based youth organizations that promote active and healthy lifestyles in support of self-esteem development. This year the majority of the funds that were raised were donated to The Boys and Girls Club of Vermont, whose mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The 100 on 100 Relay donates to charity the highest percentage per runner of any similar event. "We're proud of the our team and the donation, made in MicroStrains name, to the Boys and Girls Club of Vermont." said Steve Arms, MicroStrain's President.
