Williston Company Receives Big Military Contract
Williston, Vermont - July 5, 2007
A Williston company is expected to receive a big contract from the military Thursday.

MicroStrain will develop an airframe fatigue monitor for U.S. Navy aircraft. More work means the 30 employee company will double in size over the next two years.

MicroStrain's small wireless strain gauge sensors have been used for many applications, including measurement of strain in artificial joints implanted in humans, and to measure the strain on the famous crack in the Liberty Bell.
