As we mentioned last month, we were named one of Vermont’s Best Places to Work for the fifth year in a row. Last night, Vermont Business Magazine hosted the awards banquet for the top 45 companies in the state, and we are proud to report that we finished 8th in the Large Company category.

Hundreds of companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Vermont. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75 percent of the total evaluation.

We are very proud to be one of only five large companies to receive the distinction for five consecutive years.

The annual list of the Best Places to Work in Vermont was created by Vermont Business Magazine, the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, the Vermont Department of Economic Development, the Vermont Department of Labor, the Vermont State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Best Companies Group.
