MicroStrain’s Wins “Best of Sensors Expo” Award for Groundbreaking New Lossless Protocol in Advanced Wireless Sensor Networks

Williston, VT – MicroStrain earns a Silver “Best of Sensors Expo” Award for its latest LXRS™ Lossless Extended-Range Synchronized Wireless Sensor Network at the 2012 Sensors Expo & Conference in Rosemont, IL.  This award brings MicroStrain’s total honors earned at this event to 10 Gold and 6 Silver Awards since 2001.
 
LXRS™ Wireless Sensors Networks use MicroStrain’s new low power "lossless" wireless communication protocols (patent pending) which support scalable networks of high speed sensor nodes without data loss.   Traditional low power wireless sensors frequently suffer from lost data packets due to temporary radio frequency (RF) fading, multipath, or interference.  MicroStrain’s LXRS wireless sensing systems deliver 100% reliable data throughput under most operating conditions.
